THE MARKETING MYOPIA IS RELATED THE THE MYTHS OF THE FIRMS :

1.THE  FIRM BELIEVES THAT WHEN THE SIZE OF THE POPULATION INCREASES THE DEMAND OF THE PRODUCT WOULD INCREASE .


2. THE FIRMS BELIEVES THAT IF IN THE MARKET THE FIRM WOULD INVEST MORE ON RESEARCH  AND DEVELOPMENT THEN  THERE  PRODUCT WOULD BE SOLD AT FULL DEMAND 

3. TH FIRM BELIEVES THAT THERE IS NO SUBSITUTE PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET THEY HAVE A MYTH . THAT THERE PRODUCT IS A UNIQUE PRODUCT .


DUE TO THESE THE PRODUCTS  MANY TIMES FAIL IN THE MARKET AS IT SAID THAT A NEW PRODUCT WHEN LAUNCHED IN THE MARKET THERE IS 99 % OF CHANCE THAT IT WOULD FAIL ,,,,,

Management is an activity that is carried out by every person in there life ..

There are three levels of  an organisation

1. The top level management  - the top level management consist of board of directors and chair persons  that do  planning for a long term basis ..

2. The middle level management - In the middle level management  there are managers of different departments they manage there co workers that are working under them ..

3. The  lower level management - In the lower level management  there are supervisors ..

According to me management functions are carried that are same in different level ,,only the problems, authority are different ,,,

There are many company,s in the  world  that have there  own strategy to do business and survive in the market among the others companies ...To understand the industrial structure  first we must understand that , in every company there a product and  by that product they provide service ,,,,, to stay in the market the company must innovate it,s product time to time by R &D . 

According to me these are the things that required to understand the industrial structure .

1. product line - The company has a variety of product line ,,,and variety of products ,, depending on that they market and advertise the product .

2. the production of the company - At  what rate and mass  the production of the company is done ,

3. The profit - The  profit of the company depends on the product and the it,s market .


4. The position of the company - Till date what is the position in the market as in stock market  ...

These  four things defines the growth  of the company as a product line as a profit firm and a position the market as per the product .

Consumer or the customers are the king  of any market ..  without them... there is no product and no service today I would be talking about perceptions of buyer ...

Whenever a product is been launched a market.. the buyer .. see these thing in it..by which .. a perception of thinking of a buyer is seen

1. Product branding - it is a very important  thing that every buyer .. want to know..as many product are purchased by the brand name .. like bmw ,audi , mahindra.. these are some brand of indian market .

2.product  priceing - this priceing  also influence the customers buying perception ..as.. for the middle class consumer they would purcahse .. moderate price  product .and for high class society. People  price is not an issue...as there perception is that the more the price the more...ot is good for the class..

3. Product quality-  BY the product quality also ..the buyer is  influenced ...as  good ingredient ..and quality...builds the goodwill.. of a buyer of a product..

4. Product  packaging - The packging of the product also influence the customer attract them..and it is a thing that if the  product is well packaged it is safe and... good to use or eat.

These..are ...some reasons...according to me...which influence the buyer perception...and thinking.

It is not easy to become a sales man..or a marketing  manager ..he should have these skills they are .

1. Communication skills -  A sales manager should have the communication skills... so that he or she can convey the message to the customer about the product .

2. Presentation skills.- A sales manager should also have the presentaion  skills..  to present a demo of the product to the customer or the higher authority .

3. Technical skills - A sales manager should have technical kills... that would help him in performing in the floor... as a manager ..

4. He should be cool minded person - it is not a skills... but a quality.. as. . In the crowd he would be dealing end number of customers ..

5. He should be a good adapter of..work - As  in today world ..if you are a good adapter and by understanding the work environment  would perform.. good that it would .. be more beneficial .

These are some skills and qualities... that a sales manager should have..  to lead ..a work with a team and perform .

Advertising

What is advertising we often come into conclusion that it is a  kind of display procedure of the product through banners , videos...

As i am learning day day by something our the other according to me advertising means that " what we see in banners our in media our in television  we think over it and purchase it that is advertising ..

Advertisment  is done for :

1. Increasing the sale volume of the product .
2. Providing the knowledge of the product to the customers .
3. To launch a new product .
4. To build the goodwill of the product .
5. To give a live demo of the product through  videos.

According to me these are the main reasons for doing the advertisment of the product ,,

By advertising the consumer get a brief knowledge about the product as about  how it look , it,s features, size  and quality . it influences the buying decision of the customer towards the product ,,,as for example ...In india  maggie  is a noodle brand ,,, it,s tag line is 2 minutes noodles ,,,, by this ad the customer get the thinking that it is too quick to make a snake and for a empty stomach in a picnic at home .. by this they purchase it .

WHAT ARE THE CHANNEL OF DISTRIBUTION OF MARKETING ?

In marketing to move the products from manufactures to consumers there are distribution channels of persons  named wholesaler ,retailer, consumer ,distributor, manufacturer.., these are the persons with the help of which the products are able to reach the end numbers of consumers..

The distribution channels are :

1. 0 level distribution channel : This type of distribution channel which contains door to door selling , email                                                    order.

2. 1 level distribution channel : This channel contains manufacturer and customer the producer has direct link                                                with the customers  he sells direct selling to the customers .

3. 2 level distribution channel:  This channel contains manufacturer ,wholesaler , retailer  and consumer ..the                                                 product is being manufactured by the manufacturer then it is purchased by the                                               wholesaler then the retailer purchases it from wholesaler and at last the                                                         customers purchase it by retailer .

4.3 level distribution channel : This channel is based on five agents the manufacturer ,wholesaler, distributor                                                 ,retailer and at last the customers ...it takes a longer time to go to last                                                             consumers hand as the agent are more as compared to the level 1 st 2nd 3 rd                                               distribution channel ..

These are the level of distribution   basied on marketing distribution channel.. 

WHO ARE CUSTOMERS ?

CUSTOMERS ARE THE PERSON FOR WHICH THE MARKET DEPENDS AS IF THERE WOULD BE NO CUSTOMERS THEN  THERE WOULD BE NO MARKETING ,,,,THEY ARE THE PRIME ,CONSUMERS WHO CONSUMES THE PRODUCT AT DIFFERENT MARKET AT DIFFERENT PRICE .

CUSTOMERS ARE THE PERSONS WHICH INSPECT THE PRODUCT AND TAKES DECISION AND PURCHASE THE PRODUCT ACCORDING TO NEED AND WANT OF THEM,,

FOR EXAMPLE IF THERE IS A AUTOMOBILE COMPANY WHICH MAKES CARS LIKE FOR EXAMPLE BMW ,,,,,THERE ARE CUSTOMERS OF THIS PRODUCT OVER THE WHOLE WORLD SO THERE IS THEY ARE ABLE TO SELL THE CARS THAT THEY MANUFACTURE IN THERE UNIT ..

HOW PRICE PLAY A IMPORTANT ROLE IN MARKETING ?

AS IN MY PREVIOUS BLOG I HAD SAID THAT MARKETING MEANS CREATING A CUSTOMER .

NOW HOW THE PRICE PLAYS A IMPORTANT ROLE IN MARKETING IT IS A QUESTION THAT I HAD OFTEN HEARD :

MARKETING DEPENDS ON THE PRICING OF THE PRODUCT WITHOUT PRICEING THERE IS NO MEANING OF HAVING A MARKET OF A PRODUCT .

AS WE HAVE STUDIED IN ECONOMICS THAT  THESE TWO THING SUPPLY AND DEMAND ALSO DEPENDS ON  PRICE ,,,AS STATED  THAT  WHEN THERE IS A LOW IN THE PRICE OF A BRAND PRODUCT LIKE FOR EXAMPLE TEA BRAND TATA  THEN  THERE WOULD BE INCREASE IN DEMEND AND SUPPLY OF THE TEA BRAND PRODUCT LIKE TATA  RATHER THEN THE OTHER BRANDS  OF TEA ..


THERE ARE THREE TYPE OF CONSUMERS ACCORDING TO ME 

1. CONSUMERS OF LOWER LIVING STANDARD OR LOWER INCOME GRAND LIKE WORKERS ,LABOUR 

2. CONSUMERS OF MIDDLE  LIVEING STANDARDS LIKE EMPLOYEES  .

3. CONSUMERS OF HIGHER LIVING STANDARDS  LIKE OWNERS OF BIG FIRM ,BUSINESSMAN ..

NOW THE THIRD CATEGORY OF PERSONS ARE  THE BUSINESSMAN OR THE OWNERS OF THE LARGE FIRM THEY PREFER TO BUY LUXURY PRODUCTS AND PRICE IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR THEM ..THEY ONLY LOOK FOR BRAND . FOR  EXAMPLE  THEY WOULD PREFER TO BUY BMW ,AUDI ...COMPANY CARS .,,

THE SECOND CATEGORY OF PERSON ARE SAVING ACCOUNT HOLDER OF THE BANK THEY GET A FIXED AMOUNT OF SALARY IN THERE ACCOUNT SO THEY  PREFER TO BUY BY KEEPING THE  PRICE IN MIND ...AND DO THE MARKETING OF PRODUCT LIKE  MARUTI CARS ,MAHINDRA ,  ETC ,.OF INDIA.

THE FIRST CATEGORY OF PERSON HAVE LOW SALARY AND SOME ARE PAID OF THE DAILY BASIS SO THEY PREFER TO BUY  BIKES OF HERO HONDA , BAJAJ  RATHER THEN BUYING CARS THEY MAY NOT AFFORD IT ,,,

BY THESE CATEGORY  OF CONSUMERS PRICE  PLAYS A VERY  GREAT ROLE IN MARKETING OF THE PRODUCTS ,,,

 marketing segementation according to me is a strategy of marketing in which market in segmented into the different areas ,as for example if there is a company like KFC  it sell  it,s product to the family person and also to the children and teenagers that is a market for KFC where he could segement it and sell the product that is called market segementation  ..

The market segementation is done on the basis of consumers:

1.Demographical
2.Geographical.

market segementation is a division of market into various homogenous groups of the customers ,it depends on the marketing mix ,

WHAT IS MARKETING

According to me marketing depends on main two thing need and want of the customer ...marketing means creating a  customer .it is very difficult to make a  customer then to lose one .In today 21st century marketing according to me 55% of the marketing is done on the online basis ...the online shopping stores like flipkart  ,homeshop18 .

In this century the  buyer are more informative towards their product ,for example if  a buyer want to buy a smart phone first he check in internet and compares the product of which company is suitable for him at that price range then he takes his decision to purchase that product .



The purchasing power of the buyer has been increased which has helped the companies also to sell thier product at a higher or lower price rate .'

Marketing is the process of communicating the value of a product or service to customers, for the purpose of selling that product or service.
Marketing can be looked at as an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, delivering and communicating value to customers, and customer relationship management that also benefits the organization. Marketing is the science of choosing target markets through market analysis and market segmentation, as well as understanding consumer behavior and providing superior customer value. From a societal point of view, marketing is the link between a society's material requirements and its economic patterns of response. Marketing satisfies these needs and wants through exchange processes and building long term relationships.
